This page explains how the Rodrigues Lab website handles information when you visit the site or contact the lab.

Email contact

Choosing “Email Patrick” opens your own email application. The website does not collect or store your message or contact details. Sending the email is governed by your email provider and the recipient’s institutional email system.

Email protection

The lab email address is assembled only when you choose an email link. This reduces simple automated address harvesting but cannot prevent all unwanted messages.

Google Maps

The contact section embeds Google Maps. Loading the map may transmit technical information, including your IP address and browser details, to Google. Google’s own privacy terms apply to that service.

Local website operation

The website itself uses no advertising cookies, analytics cookies, user accounts or profiling. The hosting provider may process standard technical request data needed to deliver and secure the website.
